Paris is calling, and this time, it’s to celebrate my son’s birthday—which we haven’t done together in over eight years! Although I don’t need an excuse, it’s reason enough.

While we’re on said topic of birthdays, this year’s a biggie for me. Shocking, I know! I’ve been tossing around ideas of how I would like to celebrate. My 50th was a blast! I had a fabulous sit-down dinner for 30 in my garden—an incredible meal and some killer cocktails prepared by two good friends. It was one for the books, no doubt!

How can I top that birthday celebration for my 60th? Should I ignore it and let it slide? Or should I celebrate like it’s 1999? I mean, why shouldn’t we celebrate these milestones? Another year, another decade, in this journey we call life. Hell yes!

As I approach the big 6-0, I can’t help but feel energized, especially after seeing my mom nearly reach 102. It shows me there’s so much more living to do! With a year of celebrations ahead, what better way to start than with my son in Paris?

I’ll be spending six weeks in Paris, then returning home to start packing up my belongings for my move to Paris in the fall. I’m beyond excited! Living in Paris has been a lifelong dream, and I’m thrilled that it’s finally becoming a reality. Oh, and if you happen to know anyone looking to rent a fabulous three-bedroom townhouse, please feel free to reach out to me!

I’m kicking off my 60th year with a celebration of new adventures, experiences, stories, and plenty of wow moments! Here’s to embracing every opportunity that comes my way.

I’m still undecided on the actual birthday plans. Stay tuned!
