For just 23 euros, you could take a guided tour of the Palais Garnier, Paris’s iconic opera house, and marvel at its grandeur. But why not go further and book tickets online to one of its amazing events? With a bit of luck (and some strategic planning), you might even snag the season’s hottest ticket. I spotted seats as low as 35 euros—though, not surprised, those were sold out. Still, we scored big when buying our seats for Mayerling just a day in advance, securing front-row balcony views seats (major win!) The evening exceeded every expectation. It wasn’t just a ballet; it was an unforgettable experience in one of Paris’s most stunning venues. Not to mention, It’s on the bucket list.

I loved the old-world charm of the Opera Garnier, and the door to our section felt like stepping into The Age of Innocence, with its iconic opera scenes.

And honestly, who can resist a glass of champers between acts?

Still not convinced? Not a fan of ballet or opera? Go anyway. Oh my gosh, the Palais Garnier is so much more than the classics—it’s a stage for all kinds of performances. From contemporary dance to modern twists on old favourites, there’s something for everyone, even the skeptics. And honestly, just being inside this architectural gem is worth it. Between the awe-inspiring Marc Chagall painted ceiling and the golden glow of the balconies, the atmosphere is pure magic. Who knows? You might walk out with a newfound love for live performances—or at the very least, a phone packed with stunning photos.
